To those who want to try this new donghua out, please go to YT and search for the channel Almighty animation [Donghua] or the video title: Tomb of Fallen Gods. The video posted here by gogo is missing the most important intro. I’m surprised they actually cut out the most important and impressive part. Moreover, the English subs there are much better.

A bit of background for you :) This donghua is based of Wanmei Shijie's (Perfect World) author's second novel. It is a sequel to his first novel

Perfect World came way after this lol
Two studios are responsible for this Wondercat Animation and Rocen

Wondercat Animation along with another studio did Dragon's Disciple and with Original Force did Fanren :)
Rocen is responsible for the Hua Jianghu series lol

No idea why the quality is like this, I can only think that it might be because of Youku's funding them, instead of bilibili or Tencent

So production studios actually collaborate to do one project? I thought they are rivals and no one likes to share glory with another considering the effort and investment involved in each production.

So the Perfect World trilogy came after this Shen Mu novel? Is PW the third novel from Chen Dong? I read somewhere that he didn’t write the trilogy in a chronological order. If I’m not mistaken, PW is the middle book of the trilogy and the prequel and sequel came after PW.

Yeah sometimes, I have seen three studios work on one project before, personally I think some of these studios are sister studios owned by the same parent company
